GHRP-6

Also known as: Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6

Growth Hormone PeptidesExperimentalSubcutaneousIntramuscular

A first-generation growth hormone secretagogue that stimulates GH release via the ghrelin receptor. Known for strongly increasing appetite.

Molecular Weight

873.0 Da

Half-Life

~15-60 minutes

Sequence

His-D-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2

Mechanism of Action

Binds ghrelin/GHS-R1a receptor on pituitary somatotrophs. Also stimulates cortisol, prolactin, and ghrelin release. Strong appetite stimulation via hypothalamic ghrelin signaling.

Dosing Protocol

100-300 mcg subcutaneous 2-3x daily on empty stomach. Often combined with a GHRH peptide.
